Digitizepoints v.0.2
Author: Niccolo Rigacci <niccolo@rigacci.org>
This is a plugin for p.mapper [http://www.pmapper.net/].
It allows to digitize points directly into a PostgreSQL/PostGIS
table. A popup window allow to insert/update metadata information
for the point. Tested with p.mapper version 4.0-beta2.
The plugin requires the PHP Pear DB module, provided by the
php-db Debian package.
Main features:
* Insert new points and update existing ones into a
PostgreSQL/PostGIS table.
* Allow for different map and layer projections.
* Pick existing points for editing, with configurable
tolerance.
* Automatic web form upon table structure, allow for
hiding of unwanted fields.
* Easy itegration into the toolbar.
To use the plugin you have to:
* Unpack the plugin files into a p.mapper plugins/digitizepoints/
directory.
* Add a layer of type POINT and CONNECTIONTYPE postgis to the
mapfile. This is really needed only if you want to see the
inserted points into the map.
* Enable the plugin by adding a line in config/config_default.xml
file, into the <pmapper> tag:
<plugins>digitizepoints</plugins>
* To add the toolbar button: edit config/default/js_config.php,
add a button element into PM.buttonsDefault definition:
{tool:'digitizepoints', name:'Digitize Points'},
* Copy the button image "digitizepoints_off.gif" into
images/buttons/<theme>/
* Edit the plugin file include_conf.php and set database connection
details, table info, etc.
==== Pop-up configuration ====
You can customize the behaviour of the pop-up by assigning values
to the following tags into config/config_XXX.xml, under <pmapper>,
<ini>, <pluginsConfig> section:
<digitizepoints>
<dlgOptions>
<!-- Pop-up window width. -->
<width>640</width> <!-- Pop-up window width. -->
<height>480</height> <!-- Pop-up window height. -->
<left>100</left> <!-- Left position of pop-up. -->
<top>50</top> <!-- Top position of pop-up. -->
<decimals>5</decimals> <!-- How may decimals to keep in coordinates. -->
<dlgTimeout>2000</dlgTimeout> <!-- Timeout in ms for pop-up disappear. -->
</dlgOptions>
</digitizepoints>
Otherwise you can set the values into config/XXX/js_config.php:
PM.Plugin.Digitizepoints.dlgOptions.width = 640;
PM.Plugin.Digitizepoints.dlgOptions.height = 480;
PM.Plugin.Digitizepoints.dlgOptions.left = 100;
PM.Plugin.Digitizepoints.dlgOptions.top = 50;
PM.Plugin.Digitizepoints.decimals = 5;
PM.Plugin.Digitizepoints.dlgTimeout = 2000;
==== Internationalization ====
You can translate strings that appear in PHP code, look for strings
enclosed into the _p() function.
Create or edit the file incphp/locale/language_XX.php and add
